Opportunity Details... 2009 thru 2012 Gift Of Giving Food Drive

During the four consecutives the 2009 through 2010 Gift Of Giving Food Drive will collect over 100,000 pounds of food to launch our campaign to help support Gift Of Giving Feed The Hungry Program project, and We look forward to the possibility of your partnership in our cooperative efforts to help us collect over 100,000 pounds of food to support the one million needy individuals in Michigan that will seek food assistance.

Your donation will help feed many families in metropolitan Detroit, Michigan, including Wayne, Macomb and Oakland counties. The 2009 through 2012 Gift Of Giving Food Drive collects food commodities, food products, perishable and nonperishable food products, frozen foods, non-alcoholic beverages and toiletries, which support The Gift Of Giving Feed The Hungry Program.

During these four years, our organization will be providing food boxes for over 10,000 economically disadvantaged families each month for the next three years. Without your support, these needy disadvantaged families will not have food to feed themselves or their children. In metropolitan Detroit, Michigan alone 93% of households live at or below the poverty rate. Our goal is to provide food for these needy families and help eliminate hunger in America and southeastern Michigan.
