Opportunity Details... AARP Driver Safety Program Delaware State Coordinator - Volunteer Position

The AARP Driver Safety Program (DSP) is seeking a highly qualified person to serve as the Delaware State Coordinator. This key position requires both a commitment to the policies and direction of AARP and the Driver Safety Program, and the ability to use effective leadership to advance the program at the state level. The State Coordinator coaches, motivates and provides direction to DSP volunteers in the state and works with them to enhance the overall program locally. The ideal candidate is someone who: 1) leads by example and is results oriented; 2) provides leadership and guidance to other DSP volunteers; 3) thinks strategically; and 4) builds strong working relationships and trusting partnerships. The Driver Safety Program National Office will provide the necessary resources to support this significant work in conjunction with the DSP Regional Coordinator. This is a volunteer leadership position with many opportunities to represent this important AARP program and its volunteers.
