Opportunity Details... Be part of a new Create The Good Team in Virginia!

Someone in your neighborhood needs your help! Local organizations are struggling to feed the hungry, keep the homeless warm, and help children discover a brighter future. We are currently building a team of Create The Good Ambassadors to help local organizations find volunteers in your area. The Create The Good Web site connects volunteers with groups that need them, and you can play a part.

As a Create The Good Ambassador, you will:

* Meet with local organizations in your community to talk about their needs for volunteers and how AARP's Create The Good can help

* Work one-on-one with organizations to post events and programs on CreateTheGood.org, so they can recruit skilled and committed volunteers

* Spread the message that whether folks have 5 minutes, 5 hours, or 5 days, they can find a meaningful way to give back to their communities

Volunteers selected will receive job-specific training at AARP's Virginia State Office in Richmond. All expenses for position related travel will be reimbursed in accordance with AARP's volunteer policies.
