Opportunity Details... AARP Community Volunteer

Volunteers Needed! AARP is known for a strong tradition of community involvement, and this commitment has never been more important -- or needed. We are proud to be a resource for members who want to use their time and talents to make a difference in their community.

AARP Texas is currently looking for AARP members to serve as advocacy volunteers in your area. AARP volunteers call, write letters and visit elected officials, sharing AARP's issues, so that we can make things happen, both in Washington and in Austin.

Our volunteers use their lifetime of experience and wide range of knowledge to continue this call for change. They are the "face of AARP" in the community and with lawmakers. If would like more information, please contact Susan Williams at sjwilliams@aarp.org.
