Opportunity Details... GED Volunteer Tutor

Strive for Success is a GED program in Ward 6 for youth and young adults ages 16-25. We are looking for tutors to work with the students in reading, writing, social studies, science or math. Tutors must have a high school diploma or GED. Some college is preferred. Tutors should commit to coming 1 day per week for about an hour. Our greatest need is between 3-4:40pm, but we could use tutors in the morning and evening hours as well. All tutors will attend a tutor training to get them prepared for working with the students.
