Publications/Graphic Design Internship

Location: 3803 N. Fairfax Drive, Suite 100
Arlington, VA 22203

Hours Required: 15-20 hours a week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am - 5:00 pm

Requirements: Working knowledge of CS4 and/or Quark and InDesign needed. Familiarity with Cold Fusion, HTML and CMS desired. Familiarity with AP Style helpful.

Duties:

1. Graphic design

Perform design and layout of NAMI products in Quark and InDesign, including but not limited to brochures, magazines, annual reports, logos and letterhead. Working knowledge of CS4 and/or Quark needed.

2. Light proofing

Assist in using NAMI Editorial Style Guide on all projects. Familiarity with AP Style helpful.

3. Pre-press and production

Liaise with printers and get files print-ready. Help with bidding and print buying.

4. Web site assistance

Assist with minor graphic needs for the NAMI Web site. Familiarity with Cold Fusion, HTML and CMS desired.

5. Media and communications

Other projects and tasks as assigned.
