The Alexandria Mentoring Partnership was been developed to offer our City's youth the support they need to thrive. Mentoring is proven to help decrease the risk of crime, drug abuse, gang involvement, teen pregnancy and poor school performance - i.e. mentored youth are 60% more likely to graduate. We work to ensure quality in mentoring programs. We are 9 professionally managed programs with a need for caring volunteer adults. The time commitment is an hour or 2 a week and can make a tremendous impact.
